The Junior League of Champaign-Urbana (JCLU) announces they will postpone Innovation on Tradition: The (un)Conference Experience, originally scheduled for March 27-28, 2020 at the IHotel and Conference Center, as an effort to reduce the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
JLCU will continue to monitor the status of news regarding Coronavirus. With guidance from local public health and government leaders, JLCU plans to reschedule the conference for a date when the spread of the virus is no longer a concern.
“While the risk level of attracting coronavirus in central Illinois is still low, the health and safety of our community and families are top priority, which lead to the decision to postpone Innovation on Tradition: The (un)Conference Experience to a date later this year. Postponing Innovation on Tradition will not affect our original agenda for the conference which is to help women build a personal leadership brand and enhance essential skills as leaders.” said Denise Poindexter, JLCU President
JLCU will notify the public, update their website and social media when Innovation on Tradition: The (un)Conference Experience has a new date set.
